This game is terrific :] When for an online mode with game center?

This is a very good app for playing Koi-koi. Too bad other Hanafuda games arent provided.

This and the free version are the best hanafuda/koikoi apps available. Unfortunatly I purchased this for the online component, just a couple days before the free one was updated to online play. The free has about 5 times as many players and usually several online. This IS a 5 star game, but go for Hanafuda Japan Free and buy the add-ons you want if you decide you need them later.

This app provides a really fun way to play and learn Hanafuda! I have never played agains a real human and still love playing this game both on and offline!

I am only giving three stars to this because even though it is a good game with great features, I think the is a bug in it. When I win I only get half the points tallied. Its the same thing when I lose. I look forward to giving this a better review when this is fixed.

Not a lot people to play against, but still really fun game to play. This version is the best out there!

Worth the money if you like hanafuda

I started playing hanafuda when I was 6 yrs old. Now my mother who is 84 and I can play online. This brings us both great joy. only issue is connectivity is poor so many dropped online games

Id heard of Koi Koi, but never got a chance to play or read much about how to play. So when I saw the various free versions, I tried them all. This apps free version had full English rules and explanations, great music, and was very easy to use was so good. It was so good I just HAD to get the paid version, with all the extras and no ads! A couple of suggestions for future updates I would like to see: 1) a 2-player pass and play option for those times when my friend doesnt have an iThing. 2) I read that hanafuda cards can be used to play several games beyond Koi Koi. Id love to try them - adding more of them would be great!

There is never anyone online to play with. I reported it as a problem incase I was doing something wrong and never got a reply. So your stuck playing the program unless you know of a friend you can invite to play with you who has this app. Other wise it looks like it would be a great game. But I regret buying it with nobody online to play with. I also feel like they mislead me with the "online" advertising.

The app itself is fabulous, and would get five stars except for this: when you play, you can do nothing else. If you multitask during a game, when you go back to the game, the app crashes and your present game disappears. If you close the app during a game, then open it later, the app crashes, your game disappears, and you have to start again. Accumulated personal stats remain throughout crashes-- thats a good thing, of course. And the app itself is wonderful, except for that really big problem --- which occurs on both the iPhone 4 and the iPad 2. It was a really good idea to merge all the hanafuda paid extras into a paid app, and I was happy to sign on for that. Now please address the crashing problem. Thanks!

Addicting beyond belief! One of three games I can always play again and again and again. Knockout mode in the paid version (this one) the best! If u dont know about hanafuda/koi-koi watch the movie Summer Wars. What got me into it...

Hanafuda, or more specifically "koi-koi", is hundreds of years old, but is still a super addicting "push your luck" game today. This is the best version, besides playing face to face with the real cards!

I love this game! The music is amazing and the game is so addictive! Its worth every cent!

I have enjoyed playing for plenty hours for several years now. Great challenge, options for playing against friends locally and new game friends around the world.... Plenty hours of good fun from anywhere I am. Hanafuda is my #1 online & actual game choice!

I got into Hanafuda back in 2012 and I picked up this APP. I love this APP. Its great to play, either 1 person or 2. I highly recommend it for anyone interested on playing Hanafuda.

I am new to koi koi, but enjoy it very much. This game is fun to play with nice graphics and sound. I learned to play koi koi from the Internet, but have increased my knowledge of the game with this app especially with scoring. My Internet sources were vague in how to pit it all together. I was able to do so with this game. I would like to be able to touch and expand the melded cards though.

I started playing this after watched Summer Wars. I absolutely love it, and the more you play the faster and better you get!
